A spinal cord injury or a neurological condition can be devastating for the person physically experiencing it. Naturally, it can also be a very emotional time for friends and family members.
As a friend or family member, you will want to be there for your loved one in every way possible. This will include both extensive physical and emotional support in the days, months and years ahead.
The Right Care & Support
Your role will be invaluable in assisting your loved one to adjust to his or her new situation. At Total Community Care, our experienced team will work with you to ensure your loved one gets the care and support that is right for them.

Community Matrons
Support From Community Matrons
Our care managers and support workers work alongside Community Matrons to improve the health and quality of life for clients with long-term health conditions.
By working closely together, we support our clients in helping them to live independent lives. The close liaison with Community Matrons assists in eliminating unnecessary visits to hospital by taking care of our clients’ physical, mental, emotional and social needs.
CCGs & Local Authorities
The Role of Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs)
Commissioning is about getting the best possible health outcomes for the local population by assessing local needs, deciding priorities and strategies, and then buying services on behalf of the population from providers such as hospitals, clinics, community care, etc.
It is an ongoing process and CCGs must constantly respond and adapt to changing local circumstances. CCGs are responsible for the health of their entire population and are measured by how much they improve outcomes.
Close Working Relationships
Total Community Care works closely with many CCGs and has built up strong functional relationships by ensuring effective communication strategies are in place.
